What's something you love about audio? What drives your passion fr it?

Hey there wigglers. So got a fun question for ya. I had someone ask me recently at my day job/ trade gig why I still go out and do feild recordings/ audio stuff now and then even after my layoff and now that I no longer work full time in that industry.

The simple answer. Cause I love it and it makes me happy….well…most of the time haha 🤣.

But the more complicated answer. It allows me to be technical, creative and learn new things all the time. And I like that. I love learning everything I can about the things I want to record. That and a long term goal of having a partial income from sfx libraries. One job (trades) to work my body, the other ( feild recording / sfx libraries) to help work my mind and creativity.

Or rather that's the end goal.

But what about you guys? Love to hear what drives you.
