Reaper and Perforce (source control)

Does anyone have experience with running Reaper sessions from a perforce server? Things like how you deal with checking out a .rpp file to work in and then checking it back in? Any tips/tricks? The thing I’m finding cumbersome is having to manually check out the file and then opening it from P4V. Anyone know of a Reaper script to automagically do this? Thanks in advance!
