Question for sound supervisors?

Hello All! This question is targeted towards sound supervisors and post production audio professionals for linear media. What kind of expectations and evaluation criteria do you hold for the people you decide to work with, hire, yourself, and your coworkers. I’m holding a bias towards technical knowledge things like speed, efficiency, creativity, ability to create and manage a protools template, making sounds quickly, cutting foley within a certain amount of time etc…

But I would also love to hear about soft skills like personality, ability to interpret a clients requests, conversation around budget and time etc…

My goal is to discover a rubric for myself to evaluate not only my skill level relative to others but where my deficiencies might lie if I was hypothetically plopped into a post production studio environment.

I want to learn how important these things are for you and how you best developed those skills. I know the easy answer is experience but with the place I am in right now I am so isolated professionally. The only person pushing me to go out of my way and develop in technical knowledge is me. You all know my tiny town and right now I’m making some moves to potentially move to a larger area but right now this is all that I have in terms of an environment that will push me to be better. I want to learn so badly, to be better, smarter, faster, and to work towards my goals. I want to be post production studio material, ultimately Skywalker Sound Material 🔥.
