Do game jams ever need singers? 🎤

Hey air wigglers! I’m new to the game audio industry and am interested in finding out more about game jams as they seem super fun! But I was just wondering if there’s a place for remote recording vocalists within the jams or is it more like the actual composers who are taking part in the jams will contact singers if they want vocals on the music?

I’m trying to build up my portfolio and add to my demo reel so really interested if taking part in game jams could give me some experience 😊
