Hi everyone! I’ve been at Skywalker Sound for 15 years, currently a sound designer and sound effects editor, with experience in foley supervising/editing/mixing and field recording. I work primarily on science fiction and fantasy feature films, both live action (Marvel Cinematic Universe, etc) and animated (Disney, Pixar, Skydance). I’ve created a lot of magic and creature design in particular!

My credits on IMDB: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm3614489/

I’m also a published author (www.essahansen.com), and have practiced Japanese swordsmanship, archery, falconry, horseback riding, and have lived/worked on ranches raising various animals. Ask me anything!
