AAC26 - Day 06 - Power Up

We usually try to keep it simple on Sunday, not to overwhelm you with some convoluted animation, but even though this one is simple, UI sounds and motion graphics are notoriously hard to master. This short animation was created by Lior Shkedi, an illustrator and 2D animator based in Rotterdam, who every year delivers something fun to our challenge. For this piece, he focused on high-energy feedback: the snappy scaling, the electric 2D FX burst, and that satisfying sense of impact when the player interacts.

He worked with Adult Swim, Brown Bag Films and Simply Piano to name a few!
