Noisevember 2026: The daily music & audio challenge, starts on Sunday!
Noisevember 2026 is about to start on Airwiggles! Everyone’s favourite challenge for composers and sound designers to create some audio based on a daily theme - for the entirety of November!
Here are your themes:
What is Noisevember?
Noisevember is the audio equivalent of “Inktober”: a challenge to create something new each day for a month, all about practice, building habits, learning, and community! We want you to interpret each theme any way you want and spend as much or as little time on it as you desire. There is no pressure and no restrictions: simply have fun joining fellow audio artists for a month full of learning and experimentation!
How do I participate?
Head over to airwiggles.com/noisevember, where we will post daily threads for each theme and ask you to share your audio creation in the comments! You are free to interpret the theme in any way and create anything you like: music, sound design, synth patches, interactive audio experiences… whatever floats your boat! (but you need to have made it yourself: no stealing others’ work or using AI!) Just pop your finished creation as an .mp3, .mp4, or YouTube video link in the comments of each daily thread (and feel free to share them anywhere else with the hashtag #noisevember26!
Are there any prizes?
Duh… it’s an Airwiggles challenge, so of course there are prizes!
All members who complete every single day of the challenge will be rewarded 500 Airwiggles points and the fabled blue star member tag - guaranteed!
We will also be raffling off some fantastic prizes from our sponsors Kilohearts! Every Noisevember entry will earn you a raffle ticket (up to 30 per person), and after Noisevember ends we will raffle off these prizes to random raffle ticket holders!
Should I make music or sound design?
Whatever you like! We tried to make each theme applicable for both composers and sound designers to approach (though some of them will be quite hard). All audio is welcome!
When can I start?
The first submission thread will go live on November 1st 2026 at 8:00am GMT.
Be sure to keep visiting airwiggles.com/noisevember throughout November to keep joining in the fun and earning those raffle tickets!
Best of luck to everyone taking part, and a huge thank you to our sponsor Kilohearts supplying some amazing raffle prizes!
