Airwiggles Audio Challenge 2025: a month-long redesign challenge!

From the makers of March Through Sound and April Audio Challenge… we’re delighted to announce Airwiggles Audio Challenge, taking place throughout August 2025!

Let's practice sound design together and create some awesome redesigns everyday throughout August! We’re encouraging you to download our selected video clip of the day, set an alarm for any amount of time, and fully focus on creating some great sound redesigns!

Airwiggles OG’s may remember last year’s ‘April Audio Challenge’ and ‘March Through Sound' before that: where we saw over 5,000 sound redesigns in total. Airwiggles Audio Challenge is this years follow-up event, with the same format and rules!

Keep a close eye on the #Noisevember space to find a new clip each day from a daily post, and then share your redesign in the comments!

The rules are: there are no rules! You can use whatever source material you like: from pre-existing sound libraries to your own recordings. We personally recommend setting yourself an alarm for ~45 minutes and diving deep into your session - but anything counts.

Just so it's clear - you CAN:

  • Use designed sounds

  • Use recorded or synthesized sounds

  • Use any sound library you want

  • Work on the redesign for any amount of time

  • Submit unfinished work


The challenge is to simply practice your sound design skills every day, for a month! We've handpicked 31 video clips ranging from video games to VFX animations, and we've paid special attention to make sure all of the videos chosen cover a wide range of genres, tonality, and media.

There will be a post created for every day in the #Noisevember space where you can download each video and post your redesign, as well as discuss, analyse, get some inspiration, and have fun with other Airwiggles users! Feel free to also share your creations outside of Airwiggles community, using the #AAC25 hashtag!

You can also tune into the new space, where you can chat and discuss AAC25 with other Airwigglers!

If you manage to submit an audio redesign for all 30 days, you will recieve…

  • The Airwiggles VIP Library: a 1.4gb sound library created by the Airwiggles team, featuring 100 sound effects with over 500 unique variations.

  • 250 Airwiggles points: this will likely result in you levelling up on Airwiggles and therefore being awarded a tonne of free libraries, depending on your existing level! Don’t know what we’re talking about? Find out about the levelling-up system here!

We’ll also be running another raffle! For AAC25, each time you submit a redesign for any day, that will count as a ticket in our raffle (so you can in theory have up to 31 tickets!). We will then draw a selection of random raffle prize winners after the challenge has concluded! We’re still confirming our raffle prizes, but take our word for it - they’ll something you’ll want to get your hands on 👀
